Job Description

Position Summary

This position is responsible for LPD/BID supply to Singapore hub. Mainly accountable for inventory planning including ROP/SS and purchasing from EU/US/APAC vendors, Scheduling update, PO expediting, Past due reporting, vendor performance tracking & review, etc. Daily Communication and Coordination with warehouse, logistics, factory, demand planning, customer care supply wise. Fully involved in BOQ (beginning of Quarter) and EOQ (End of Quarter) process and any hub inventory replenishment related transactions & required follow-up action.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for material master maintenance in SAP.
  • Hub Inventory Planning including stocking strategy and Safety stock & ROP setup.
  • Inventory related analysis & support.
  • Inventory Report & Stock liquidation.
  • Daily Procurement with different vendors globally and maintains Order Acknowledgement in SAP.
  • PO Past due Tracking & follow up.
  • Vendor Performance Tracking & review (may have night call with US vendors).
  • Inventory Reporting.
  • PO Tracking Report.
  • Close daily coordination/communication with Warehouse & Logistics & Customer Care.
  • Vendor pricing updates & maintenance.
  • Coordination with finance on PPV.
  • End of Quarter Involvement & Support.
  • Damage/shortage/over ship issue follow-up.
  • Lead Time monthly review.
  • Coordinate with Planners for PO expediting with respective vendors.
  • Transportation mode review & optimization.
  • PO/Shipment follow up.
  • Other purchasing/planning related reporting & analysis.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration,
  • Engineering or related field or equivalent experience required.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in Purchasing / Procurement/Planning function.
  • Must have prior experience working with SAP or other equivalent ERP software.
  • Proficient in MS Office Application skills especially for EXCEL.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Overseas buying experience a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, detail and process oriented.
  • Effective writing skills.
  • Superior communicative skills.
  • Excellent negotiating skills.
  • Good follow-up skills.
  • Self-motivated with minimum direct supervision requirements.
