Summary:
Responsible for maintenance, review, research, investigation and resolution of sales rep field inventory across all Synovis MCA product lines to ensure accuracy, product traceability and compliance with FDA and SOX requirements. Provides advanced support to the operations function under minimal supervision.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Generates and distributes monthly field inventory reports specific to each sales rep. Investigates any discrepancies in quantities or lot numbers promptly.
- Performs reconciliation to discrepancies according to accepted accounting principles. Elicits support of sales reps to provide documentation and clarity as needed.
- Interacts daily with sales reps to fulfill new field inventory requests. Records all transactions and movement of product in QAD inventory management system to ensure traceability by product and lot number.
- Tracks and receives expired inventory from the field. Removes expired product from inventory system.
- Initiates weekly inventory cycle counts for warehouse personnel to establish balance comparison between physical quantity and system quantity.
- Coordinates with Customer Service to gather and organize documentation for bill only sales from field inventory.
Qualifications:
- Ability to complete tasks with minimal direction from manager
- Proactive results-oriented individual
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, often cross-functionally
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; detail oriented
- Strong working knowledge of PC applications (ie. Excel/Access).
Education and/or Experience:
BS degree preferred; High School Diploma required; Experience in medical industry desired.
