Responsibilities:

• Follow global financial markets and monitor market risks of respective geographical coverage and provide relevant daily commentary and report to the Investment team
• Liaise with external brokers and private bankers on market intelligence, fixed income and equity research, with primary focus on fixed income markets
• Conduct market research in various sectors and build financial models for company analysis and valuations
• Monitor respective fixed income and equity portfolios performance and execute portfolio rebalancing as required
• Execute appropriate portfolio hedging ( equity and FX ) or risk reduction strategy
• Alert management on portfolio exposure and risk
• Ensure full compliance of all internal and external control policies and codes of conduct
• Coordinate & maintain investment specified information/reporting system

Requirements:

• Tertiary/university education or above
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Good knowledge in investment market & financial products
• Proficiency in PC, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Minimum 5 years of solid experience in research and investment analysis
• Experience in fixed income or equity research, buy-side investing, investment banking, consulting or other quantitative role will be a plus
