Responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental research on equities and company visits, focus on Consumer sectors and companies;
• Develop detailed financial models, prepare investment memo / research report and generate investment ideas to Portfolio Managers;
• Monitor key macro-economic events and news flows to form a view on the market;
• Research various investment opportunities as assigned by Portfolio Managers.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Finance, Economics or any disciplines;
• 2 - 4 years’ relevant experience in Hong Kong and/or China equity research in Consumer Sectors.
• Good understanding on macro-economic conditions of the Greater China market;
• Strong financial analysis, research and modeling skills;
• Numeric-sensitive with passion in financial sector;
• Strong interpersonal, communication and time-management skills;
• Self-starter with positive attitude and a good team player;
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
