Drive and support the team to perform unit linked and pension related projects and businesses

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist and support the growth of unit-linked and pension businesses
• Perform funds selection, review and monitoring for both unit-linked and pension platforms
• Maintain relationships with investment managers, coordinate due diligence of funds and managers, negotiate fees and business contracts
• Prepare and support internal and external regulatory meetings and complete regulatory reports and product proposals
• Support various marketing activities to promote unit-linked and pension businesses
• Perform other responsibilities and duties assigned by the function head to achieve overall business objectives, i.e. business targets and other KPI

Minimum Job Requirements: 

• University graduate in Business, Finance and/or related discipline with a minimum of 7 years of experience in financial industry
• Good team player whilst able to work independently
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
• Good understanding of financial markets and investment products (including mutual funds, hedge funds and alternative investment tools etc.)
• Pass examinations of paper 1,3,5 of the Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examination (“IIQE”) and/or MPF Intermediaries examination is preferred
• Spoken and written fluency in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
• Knowledge in Morningstar, Bloomberg and Lipper would be an advantage
• CFA charterholder is preferred
