• Data model governance and data base design administration (50 %)
• Gather and analyze data requirement, propose technical and data model design
• Optimize data model design to improve system performance and remove data redundancy
• Define framework to govern new data point creation on every data base used applications supported by Investment IT
• Maintain and enhance data dictionary
• Define and maintain database change control procedure and maintain related manual and procedures
• Review design and documentation of enhancement provided by internal IT team and vendor to ensure AIA business requirement and IT standard is met and the design is sustainable 
• Work closely with Investment IT application architect, BI reporting team to ensure design align with the requirement of data modeling.
• Supervise quality of vendor deliverables (30 %)
• Knowledge base development (10%)
• Prepare and design knowledge base to help business users understand data model and how to discover data point
• Drive knowledge sharing among AIA IT support team as well as business users to improve knowledge of data point available in applications supported by Investment IT
• Application performance monitoring and tuning (10%)
• Work with vendor to monitor and fine-tune system performance and gather SLA reports
• Work with vendor to trouble shoot and fix application related issues
• Work with vendor on database related patches and upgrade

Job Requirements :

Education

• University / College graduate in computer science or other relevant discipline

Experience

• Minimum 3-year working experience with Data model design
• Experience with Microsoft PowerBI tool integration with Data Model is a plus
• business knowledge of investment

Technical skills

• Strong SQL skill is a must
• Experience in Oracle, Azure Data Lake, Microsoft SQL server
• Knowledge on Azure cloud
• Knowledge on ODBC, API
• Knowledge of OLAP cube or datacube
• Microsoft Azure Data Engineer certified is a plus
• Experience on Knowledge Base software
• Microsoft Office
• Experience on Microsoft PowerBI is a plus
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence is a plus
• Experience with Service Now is a plus
• Experience of software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
