Investor Communications Manager

 

 

Location: This position will have a flexible hybrid schedule, alternating between a home office and in our Exton, PA corporate headquarters. For candidates with the right qualifications, we will consider 100% remote work.

 

Position Summary:

The Investor Communications Manager will report to the VP of Investor Relations and have the key responsibility of driving engagement with both current and prospective shareholders. The Investor Communications Manager will integrate modern communication technology and the methods with traditional IR best practices to build an effective and responsive Investor’s communications function.

This is a unique opportunity for someone with a background in communications or marketing that has an interest in specializing in the financial world. Or, you may have a financial background and want to specialize in communications. This position is an opportunity to influence strategic direction and develop innovative solutions that will push Bentley Systems into the future.

 

Your Day-to-Day: 

  • Assist the VP Investor Relations, the Chief Financial Officer, Chief Executive Officer, and other key Bentley executives in all matters related to Investor Relations.
  • Help in the preparation and planning for investor marketing events including offering roadshows, non-deal roadshows, and investor conferences.
  • Manage scheduling and logistics for investor marketing events.
  • Assist with the creation of investor marketing materials, including presentations.
  • Maintain the investor marketing engagement system (IR Insight), create investor profiles and other reports, and provide analysis to support investor marketing and targeting.
  • Work directly with our Nasdaq support team, IR consulting firm, and IR communications agency on targeting, initiatives, campaigns, and events.
  • Work with Marketing on the insurance of investor relations press releases and appropriate Nasdaq and other notifications.
  • Work with Marketing to maintain the IR website.
  • Engage with the cross functional steering committee for ESG matters.
  • Manage relationships and engage with sell-side analysts covering Bentley.
  • Manage the logistics and execution of quarterly operating results calls and other investor events.
  • Bentley has a very dynamic work environment and chances are you will get ample opportunities to work on projects in several areas related to financial strategy.

 

What You Bring to The Team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Marketing or Communications. MBA preferred.
  • Three or more years of prior experience in a communications-based role supporting investor relations, finance, marketing or in shareholder engagement at an institutional investor.
  • Strong interpersonal skills required to develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective shareholders and other stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, written and verbal, required to explain complex topics in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong technical skills to function as primary administrator of IR related systems, website, and data.
  • Well organized and able to manage complex logistics and planning with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Open to occasional travel to meet with investors or attend conferences, both domestically and internationally.
  • Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer. The role requires communication with managers, peers, and other colleagues of the company in person (on occasion), and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling and meeting functions.
