Job summary:

• Take responsibility in the expanding China team for IoT architecture and software development of residential controls and comfort solutions;

• Responsible for the technical definition and coordination of connectivity projects in China;

• Execute software development work packages;

• Break-down projects into specific work-packages and estimate required effort to define necessary resources;

• Communicate with local and international teams of developers and testers;？

Tasks:

• Develop or coordinate with development partners Software for connectivity solutions: Gateway, Wifi modules, on RTOS platform for embedded devices;

• Collaborate and coordinate technical activities with a global Bosch development team;

• Work directly with customers to develop IoT system solutions based on use cases, requirements engineering, technical feasibility studies and back-end solutions;

• Independent requirement analysis for software considering the customer needs;

• Ensure the technical path defined will meet all customer specifications (Connectivity device, communication protocols / cloud services / back end interface / app development);

• Team work – also cross-departmental- for the improvement of software development processes and methods.

Requirements:

• University degree of Software engineering or Computer science;

• Min. 3 years of work experience in connectivity related developments. This includes:

  • Cloud solutions (servers, layered services, SDK, HTTPS, MQTT protocols…);

  • Gateway development (e.g. SW, HW design);

  • App development (e.g. iOS, Android);

  • Data Security, privacy and encryption;

• Development experience on I2C, SPI, UART, MODBUS, Integration experience of WiFi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, GSM on IoT products;

• Good skills in embedded C/C++ programming;

• Knowledge in Standard ALM methods and tools, and Agile development environments (Jira, Jenkins, etc.);

• Knowledge in Zigbee, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, networking protocol of TCP/IP;

• Good English language skills;

• Excellent communication skills with local and international teams and self-confidence;

• Analytical and cross-divisional thinking with an outside the box problem solving approach;

• Available for local and international travel.
