Job Summary
- Manage medical information (med info) staff as well as day-to-day operations of the Regional med info contact center provider and other med info vended Intake suppliers
- Drive medical information digitization via automation of query handling and AI-driven analytics to enable rapid generation of insight
- Point of Contact for Regulatory Agency Audit inspections for med info Call Centers
- Ensure service levels (targets for handling, turnaround, efficiency, and quality) and customer expectations are met
- Enhance and implement both quantitative and qualitative med info KPI measurement s
- Perform effective capacity modeling and management to ensure appropriate staffing and resources at all suppliers
- Set up and conduct periodic performance reviews to include formal quarterly business reviews
- Review and approve monthly invoices and track spend against budget
- Ensure appropriate staffing, training, and conduct monitoring of vended staff
- Liaise with internal and cross functional partner (Safety, Quality, Commercial, IS) to gather information and resolve issues
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and benchmarks
- Strategic Planning and execution of department goals in alignment
with key strategic initiatives. - Respond to complex medical inquiries in a timely manner:
- Conduct comprehensive literature searches, critically appraise and distill the
information, and effectively communicate a response to customers’ inquiries - Identify and collect information specific to reported adverse events and document
appropriately - Develop and maintain scientifically rigorous Medical Information materials
(standard responses, FAQs, response documents, etc) for assigned product portfolio - Keep abreast of industry trend and technology revolution to provide HCP- and patient-centric med info offerings
- Provide monthly reports/presentations to cross functional teams
- Work with vendors and consultants to ensure quality of responses
- Participate on new product launch teams, Authority Triage, responses
Basic Qualifications
- PharmD, BScPhm, MD, or PhD or BSc/MSc in a biological science
- 8+ years Medical Information and digital experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctorate degree (Pharm.D.)
- 3+ years’ experience including driving disruptive digital solutions
- At least 2 years’ experience within biotechnology, pharmaceutical and or/healthcare environment
- Directly related experience in managing people & projects, and with project management tools and processes
- Experience working with other functions within Medical Affairs or Clinical Development
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrix environment
- This role requires an experienced digital project manager who is used to working in
a fast-paced environment
