Java Developer

Who we’re looking for?

We’re looking for a mid java developer with 3+ years of experience who would like to dabble in the world of Big Data through working with Stream Processing technologies in order to create a Data Warehouse. Our ideal colleague is someone who loves to write code has good algorithmic skills and wants to enter the Bid Data world, to learn and grow continuously by making use of a self-driven mindset.

Required skills

• Very good OOP and Design Patterns knowledge
• Experience with Java 11
• Experience with a testing framework for example Junit, Mockito and Cucumber
• Good Relational Databases and data modeling knowledge (knowledge of Dimensional modeling is a plus)
• Experience with an ORM technology, Hibernate, EclipseLink 
• Experience with REST services
• Experience with the Spring stack( Spring Rest, Spring Data JPA)
• Conceptual knowledge of microservices
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins (experience with Spinnaker is a plus)

Nice to have

• Experience with Apache Kafka 
• Experience with Apache Flink
• Experience with a microservice environment
• Experience with oData
