We are scouting for a Java Web developer for one of our Java delivery based teams. To be able to work in this team, knowledge and experience needs to go beyond "ordinary" Java skills. These teams works on building highly scalable frameworks and web applications based on JPA 2.0, OData RESTfull webservice, Spring and more. We also continuously research upcoming technologies like Akka, Scala, playframework, Node.JS and more for use in our products.

The Delivery software runs at customers serving millions of page views per day served by hundreds of servers. So you can imagine the technology challenges we have in providing a scalable architecture that does what customers want and provides good performance. We did a pretty good job so far and we are a market leader in the web content management area (by analysts like Forrester), but to stay on top we need to expand with good people.
ROLE and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop Highly scalable products using Java technologies
- Define and contribute to the team process
- Assess and complete the personal sprint tasks
- Understand and contribute to product architecture
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE and PERSONALITY
- Experience in Java/JEE software design and development
- Experience with Unit-testing, mocking and integration testing
- Knowledge of Hibernate and JPA persistence technologies
- Knowledge of Spring framework
- Build tooling experience with Maven
- Fluent English in reading, writing and speaking
DESIRABLE SKILLS
- Knowledge of different web frameworks, like Spring MVC and Play framework
- Knowledge of database servers like MSSQL, Oracle
- Knowledge of Scala
- Experience in web services development in REST
- Knowledge of application servers such as Weblogic, Websphere, etc.
