In this job opportunity you will be able to work in an international project with the Siemens Mobility Company: Sqills What will you do? Sqills licenses and implements S3 Passenger, a SaaS distribution system, all over the world. S3 Passenger is a complete inventory, reservation and ticketing software suite for train and bus operators. You will be part of one of the Agile DevOps teams. Teams consist of a combination of Developers, Testers and a Product Owner. As a team, you are responsible for the complete development and management cycle. As a team you have the freedom to choose the language and tools we work with. Together you work on (backend) microservices in the AWS Cloud. Because you work with software that handles hundreds of requests per second (high performance), your work continues to be challenging. Some of the things you are responsible for are include: Designing and implementing microservices for S3 Passenger Translating functionalities into software solutions and bridging the gap between desired functionality and technical solution At Sqills we focus on quality. This is reflected in the ownership our team members have for their own microservices, but also in the fact we have extensive requirements for developing components. Because our software offers the complete inventory, reservation and ticketing suite for our international customers, our focus on quality is especially important.
