Jr Community Developer: 

The Junior Community Developer will be a member of a community team reporting directly to the Community Technical Lead and is responsible for learning the codebase, writing and debugging code, developing innovative solutions, and troubleshooting platform issues. 

As the Junior Community Developer, you will work closely with the Community Technical Lead to assist with member support, implement platform improvements, and streamline existing community processes.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Troubleshoot user technical issues  

  • Maintain permission roles and moderation queue 

  • Forum Creation and Content Seeding 

  • Assist with generating and running QA test scenarios 

  • Support technical configuration of the platform  

  • Develop and maintain custom HTML/CSS/JavaScript to enhance member experience 

  • Generate HTML email templates to meet speciation’s 

  • Write REST API calls to retrieve and display community content in other ADI platforms 

Qualifications: 

  • A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field  

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and communicate potential conflicts to manager 

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of an extended, cross-functional team 

  • Deep knowledge of HTML to create custom widgets containing graphical elements, actions, and navigation  

  • Proficiency with the following languages: C+, JavaScript, & SQL 

  • Knowledge of REST API end points  

  • Experience using Version control software, such as GIT 

  • Jive and/or Telligent platform knowledge is preferred
