How will you make an impact? 
 
The role will have a primary focus on the design and implementation of all application infrastructure built in the cloud and on premise, in an automated repeatable fashion. 
  
What will you do?       
    
  • Manage, develop, and deploy automation technologies for both our AWS and on-premise infrastructure
  • Responsible for the design and build for all application infrastructure on premise and in the cloud
  • Responsible for recommending and automating O/S Platform standards and administration best practices
  • Ability to work in a team structure, make decisions, solve problems, communicate inside & outside the organization, and analyze, plan, organize and prioritize work
  • Researches new infrastructure technologies and makes recommendations to management. 
  • Perform environment builds with industry standard tools (Hashicorp suite, CloudFormation’s, CodeCommit, Git, etc.) 
  • Work with Continuous Integration/Configuration platforms and tools such as Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, etc. 
  
 
 
 
How will you get here? 
 
  • AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms. (AWS certification is a significant plus)
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools ( e.g. Ansible, Terraform, etc. )
  • Development skills in a programming language
 
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities 
 
  • Dynamic, hard-working and ambitious
  • Windows and/or Linux systems administration experience/knowledge
  • Capable of working on multiple projects of a complex nature
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to assist in issue resolution
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs to meet business needs
  • Must be a self-starter with high level analytical skills combined with thorough documentation abilities
