Eaton’s Enterprises division is currently seeking an Jr. MRO Buyer to join our team. This position is based at our Queretaro facility.

The Jr. MRO Buyer is responsible for assure purchasing guidelines and policies with suppliers. Define and complete commercial agreements (contracts, credit terms, prices) with suppliers. Purchase MRO items and/or services for the organization. Quotation process. Review prices and commercial issues with indirect suppliers. Indirect material analysis.

Some activities related with the position will be:

• Indirect material analysis of variations
• Avoid any disruption in the production line due to lack of MRO items
• Excess and obsolete analysis
• Item master Purchase/Planner analysis
• Indirect supplier’s data base administration
• MRO quotation for new requirements
• Invoices on Hold analysis and resolve reported issues from MRO suppliers
• Follow up to the chemists’ process as a CAT-5 MESH member
• Oracle Vendor deactivation and addings.
• Correction of Invoices and Purchase Orders by Markview
• Follow up of delivery material and invoices.
• Resolve problem situations related to selection of source, price, deliveries, specifications, quality and other terms with suppliers and various internal departments.
• Prepare and communicate product specifications to vendors as appropriate and negotiate with the most favorable vendor considering costs, quality, delivery, etc.
• Receive and coordinate the Quotation process for new/current MRO product and/or projects.
• Work under the guidelines, policies and process of Eaton & IATF 16949 and ISO 14000 Environmental.
• Participation in CI events

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Admin, Engineering or similar
• Negotiations skills
• ERP Planning skills (preferably Oracle 11i, ASCP)
• English advanced

Preferred Qualifications:

• ERP knowledge and experience (MFG Pro Advanced, desirable)
• Six Sigma training - Yellow Belt (Desirable)
• Work under the guidelines, policies and process of Eaton's Philosophy, IATF 16949 and ISO 14000 Environmental.
