Job Description
Eaton’s Vehicle is currently seeking a Jr Quality Engineer to join our team. This position is based at our Aguascalientes Facility. The Jr Quality Engineer is responsible for: • Management of the EATON change control system. • Coordinate all related activities to assure the correct implementation of changes within the organization including bill of materials and routings. Some activities related with the position will be: Management of engineering changes. Support plant SQE on supplier changes. Support operations team on the process changes and validations. Review and Approve or Reject Engineering Change Orders (CO). Create or update Bill of Materials and Routings as needed on the ERP. Support cycle time reduction activities & annual financial policy. Stablish and track progress of project changes timing. Ensure timing alignment according to customer, plant and suppliers needs. Identify all resources needed for the change implementation. Assist in identifying and implementing the training and development need of project changes team members. Change risk and impact assessment. Demonstrate the application of the 8 CIF modules and support related initiatives on daily basis through establishing, maintaining and complying his/her Standard Work and other tools. Participate in Kaizen events, Lean Council and Continuous Improvement teams when required. Generate ideas for improvement according with the local programs. Identify risks on the change management system and develop action plans to mitigate them. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required Basic use of CAD systems and Geometric tolerances. English at a conversational level Strong interpersonal communications and leadership skills. Proactive & results driven Ensure Eaton targets are met with respect to standard philosophies and work practices.
