Job Duties:

Accountant in EFSS China is a connection between business unit finance team and EFSS China GL financial analysis and reporting team. It is a very key role to make sure financial report accuracy. Because we need to contact with people from different teams, excellent communication and interpersonal skill is preferred. To ensure accounts owned by this team is booked accurately, the accounting knowledge of the accountant should be excellent. EFSS China will provide opportunity for those employees whose performance is good in this team to lead some process improvement project to enhance professional ability. It is a good opportunity to work in Caterpillar EFSS during accounting career.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Process general ledger journal entry raised from other functions

• Issue pro-forma inter-company non-trade invoice according to AR suspense account and provide explanation if necessary

• Set up master data in financial system according to request

• Support on data transmission between several financial systems

• Chinese ledger translation

• Assist all financial audits including internal & external

• Perform all activities to a high standard and in compliance with SOX controls

• Fulfill other support jobs assigned by team supervisor

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 4 year Degree in Accounting or equivalent

• 4 year Degree in Business with a minimum of 18 hours accounting coursework

• 3.0 / 4.0 Grade Point Average (Account GPA & Cumulative GPA) or equivalent

• Willingness to relocate and be mobile minded

• Excellent Initiative, Communication and Interpersonal skills

Desired Qualifications:

• Professional Certification (CPA, CMA or equivalent)
• MBA or master’s degree in Accounting (or equivalent)

• 1-2 years of Accounting experience
