The Adallom group is building Microsoft Cloud App Security (MCAS), security product for cloud and enterprise customers, providing visibility into cloud apps and services, sophisticated analytics to detect, investigate and response to threats and attacks, and protection to sensitive data.
The product combines the cutting edge in cloud technology, big data, machine learning and product design. Being Microsoft, we're in a unique position to provide the best security product to Microsoft's leading Office 365, Azure and Dynamics as well as 3rd party cloud apps and resources.
We are looking for a talented data analyst to performs in depth research of cloud services market and trends.

Responsibilities

• Characterize cloud applications' technical communication patterns and security controls
• Analyze security and compliance regulations and standards
• Identify risk trend cloud services based on public and internal resources
• Generate summary reports, presentations, graphs and charts for customers and management
• Lead and research processes and create supporting workplans
• Identify relevant data sources and apply the appropriate tools to efficiently collect and prepare data for analysis

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Statistics/Computer Sciences/Mathematics/industrial engineering
• Familiarity with internet and communication technologies and protocols (HTTP, SSL, DNS,…)
• Familiarity with web search tools (Google, Bing, etc.)
• Experience in data analysis with Excel and SQL
• Self-learner and team player – ability to communicate and cooperate with other individuals/teams
• Great written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in scripting with Python and working with protocol analyzers – advantage
• IDF intelligence units veteran – advantage (Webint analysis experience is a huge plus)
