Job Description

Job Purpose
As a Junior Finance Systems Analyst within RWS Business Applications, you will be part of a team responsible for supporting the various legacy Finance System applications as well as the new group finance application MS Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.


Key Responsibilities

* Supporting and maintaining the finance systems.
* Dealing with support desk tickets in a timely manner. 
* Creating user accounts for new starters across applications.
* Amending security access for existing users. 
* Sending requests to Finance for approval based on the audit approval matrix
* Helping to keep finance systems documentation up to date
* Assisting the team with general administrative tasks.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
* Attending workshops and training for MS D365 where applicable.
* Escalate issues to senior members of the team where appropriate.

Skills & Experience

* Some experience using/working with Finance System applications. 
* Experience working in a finance environment & understanding of finance functions & processes.
* Great Plains & MS D365 experience is desirable but not essential.
* MS Office skills, especially MS Excel.
* Ability to interact with cross-functional team members.  
* Work effectively in a team and with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Good organisational skills.
* Clear communicator.
* Continually open to new ideas.
* Delivery focused.
* Willingness to learn new skills.
* Attention to detail.
* Good at problem solving.
* Ability to prioritise tasks according to urgency/importance.
