Job Overview: 

As IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for a range of IT projects and expected to effectively manage and co-ordinate activities, ensuring they are undertaken in a controlled and efficient manner. You will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required and agreed specifications.

Main Duties include: 

* Support assigned goals, with an eye to cost optimization, knowledge needed and career pathing for team members
* Strategize and optimize IT project team able to support assigned goals, with an eye to cost optimization, knowledge needed and career pathing for team members
* Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client
* Work with budget owner to establish tactical , long term budgeting, resource allocation, capacity and production planning
* Regularly monitors Key Performance Indicators and works with budget owner to create and "project manages" improvement initiatives with team members and other support groups to achieve the objectives
* Assures methodology and enforces project standards and minimize risks
* Is accountable for delivery of all projects to ensure that they are in line with client agreements - on time, in the required quality, within budget and with appropriate client treatment and responsiveness
* Facilitates team and client meetings effectively
* Holds regular status meetings with IT project team managers
* Keeps project team well informed of changes within the organization and general corporate news
* Reports effectively and concisely relevant project information to the management.
* Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations, tailored to the audience
* Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion/Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
* Challenges others to develop as leaders while serving as a role model and mentor
* Manages the development of team by ensuring, when possible, that project tasks are in line with each Innovator's career interests
* Sets and manages client expectations while developing lasting relationships with client personnel    

Experience:
* Experience in a similar role (project management, sales, and customer service)
* Methodical in nature 
* Good written/verbal communication and presentation skills
* Good Microsoft Office and Internet knowledge
* Ambitious and with a desire to learn and progress 
* Analytical and structured problem solving abilities
