Currently, CBD, together with Pinvita, is offering Junior Product Design// Internship to join us, focusing on developing products in home appliances, furniture, household, bathroom, living room, bedroom related products, and daily consumer-electronic products for the domestic and global markets.

As a launching platform for talent, we offers a multi-national environment in which you are encouraged to abundantly take initiative within the team by sharing opinions, tools, methods, and your personal experience in any given phase of a project.

Guided by our design managers you will actively participate in all phases of the design process; from the initial market research and conceptualisation, all the way through to the mock-up and production phases. You will have the opportunity to explore and develop your full potential as an industrial designer.

Love Design! : We are looking for designers who love their work so much that they put all their energy and heart into the designs and do not give up until it is right. No compromise
Be Pro-active: We need our designers to take charge and act pro-actively by suggesting solutions to problems – not just present problems. You should be able to take actions on your own initiative. Instead of “What should I do?” it is better to be pro-active and say: “this is the problem and this is how I suggest we solve it”.
Be flexible: Working in China it is absolutely necessary that our designers can adjust quickly to new situations, because things change very fast here. New situations such as changing requirements, changing deadlines, project overload etc.
Have a good personality: Personality is everything
we all work closely together and have to focus on good chemistry between the+ team members.
Be a team worker: We need designers who can work in teams of 2-3 other designers in a diplomatic and professional way.
Be Enthusiastic: We are designers who show energy and enthusiasm in the work they do.
Be a responsible person: Our designers get a lot of responsibility and they need to be able to handle this in a mature and professional way.
Be innovative: We sell innovative solutions to our clients and therefore our designers must also be innovative and get new and existing ideas with a different approach than normal.
Have knowledge about the market: It is very important that our designers know a lot about the market that we design for and have an interest in knowing about the newest products.
Have respect for our clients: Our designers are respectful to clients and can communicate with them in a professional and respectful way.
Have/want “life experience”: Our designers must be the types of persons that have already, or want to get experiences from their life. We need persons that are eager to learn and persons that find new things interesting instead of frightening.

Qualifications and skill requirements:

Bachalor +, and MSc Degree in Industrial Design (4-5 year program);
Solid experiences within home appliances, kitchen accessories, and household product fields will be a plus.
Creative, with strong concept generation skills;
Strong visual and verbal communication skills;
Excellent sketching, 2D and 3D modelling and Illustrator rendering skills. (Adobe, Rhino, Solidworks, Pro-E);
Good command of written- and spoken English
