Junior Marketing Analyst
This role is an exciting opportunity to join our global marketing operations team and drive data-led change and innovation.
The Junior Marketing Analyst will collaborate with our divisional marketing teams to help show the value and effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. The role is ideal for someone starting their career or wanting to transition into a specialized data and analytics role. The candidate will form part of our larger analyst team and receive a combination of on-the-job and specialist training. The role also offers the potential for future progression.
This role reports to a UK-based Marketing Analyst Manager but may interact with stakeholders worldwide. Applicants will therefore require strong verbal and written English skills. Occasional travel to meet team members is a possibility.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and build dashboards and visualizations in Excel, Sisense or other BI tools and Salesforce
- Work with the marketing team to ensure they can utilize the output of your projects to enable data-driven decision making
- Gather requirements and collaborate with other business teams to deliver intelligent data solutions in line with defined objectives and results
Skills & Experience - Required
- Strong problem-solving abilities. Interested in interrogating data to develop hypotheses and insights.
- Experienced & advanced user of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage own time
- Proactive and forward-thinking
- Excellent attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to contribute both independently and as part of a team
Skills & Experience – Desirable but training and development can be provided
- Experience using data visualization tools (e.g. Sisense/Tableau/Qlik/PowerBi)
- Some knowledge of SQL
- Experience with marketing data
- Clear communicator, comfortable in liaising with stakeholders to gather requirements and present findings
- Identify performance, visualization and reporting challenges, and suggest improvements
- Experience in root cause analysis, assessing risks/impacts to inform the development of effective solutions
