We are an export company based in China that sources a wide range of metal-cutting machinery for our UK operations. To support our expanding business, we are looking for a young, driven, and tech-savvy individual to join our team long-term.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is based in China and wants to grow into a future managerial role while gaining hands-on experience in international trade and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Quotations & Orders: Prepare and manage machinery quotations for the UK market;
issue and follow up on purchase orders to Chinese suppliers.
• Order & Stock Coordination: Maintain outstanding order and stock lists with the Chinese team.
• Inspections: Coordinate quality inspections with the internal quality manager.
• Catalogue Support: Assist with the creation and ongoing updates of our product
catalogue.
• Supplier Communication: Work alongside the Chinese team and engage with suppliers;
Chinese language skills are a plus.
• Process Improvement: Help streamline workflows and automate quotations or operations
where possible.
What We’re Looking For:
• A young, dynamic individual who can work efficiently
• Based in China and willing to relocate to Xiamen.
• In possession of the required documents for a Working Visa
• Someone computer-savvy and confident using Office and Adobe programs and AI Tools
• Interest or experience in automation or process improvement is a big plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational ability.
• Clear communication in English; Chinese is a bonus.
• Tech savvy, interest in engineering is a plus.
• Willing to learn, grow, and take on more responsibility over time with plans to stay in
China long term.
