As (Junior) Product Owner Data & Analytics you will be supporting our journey towards a data-driven organization.

Your tasks:

  • (Agile) management of implementation of powerful visualization and analytics solutions for various departments in close cooperation with the reporting and analytics teams through sprint and release planning, facilitating scrum ceremonies and focusing on continuous improvement.
  • Proactive, cross-divisional and cross-functional communication with various departments to identify and align needs & challenges in the field of data, reporting and analytics
  • Translating business requirements into technical specifications and vice versa
  • Formulation and prioritization of requirements in the form of user stories under consideration of data strategy and business impact
  • Active support during the implementation phase as well as continuous monitoring of progress
  • Further development of agile working methods within the team as well as responsibility for agile tools (Kanban / DevOps) and procedures
  • Daily management of the Kanban board
  • Support the development, expansion, and scaling of our service portfolio as well as the strategic development of the CDAO unit


Your profile:

  • Successfully completed studies in economics, business informatics or comparable
  • Experience in a product owner, a scrum master or project manager in the field of data / analytics
  • Practical experience in agile project management (Scrum, Kanban) in a complex, dynamic environment
  • Great at developing new relationships, forming strong stakeholder relationships and thoughtfully communicating
  • Experience of working with cloud-based analytics products (e.g., Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Data Stack) and/or any blend of technical skills (e.g., Python, R or SQL etc) is a plus
  • Strong analytical thinking as well as the ability to convey technical issues in a target group-oriented manner
  • Excellent English communication skills (main team language is English, German skills are a plus)
  • High degree of customer focus, independence, motivation and hands-on mentality
  • Enjoy driving forward own ideas, learning continuously, and sharing knowledge
