In this role, you have the opportunity

to work in an agile environment for a prosperous business on the creation and development of a modern solution approach for patient monitoring systems for worldwide markets.

There are two job opportunities available , one with a focus on project management for our overall ‘Monitoring & Analytics’ business of Philips and one with the focus on a software and solution platform.

You are responsible for

• Supporting cross-functional project coordination and project planning

• Supporting cross-site planning and coordination of development and improvement activities between distributed, multinational teams (in China, India, Brazil and Germany)

• Managing and facilitating workshops

• Presenting project plans and regular status reports to senior project stakeholders

• Preparing and updating project reporting systems in accordance with our project guidelines and standard processes

• Continuously improving project management practice at Philips to increase efficiency and predictability of project planning and execution

• Working closely with project management team to contribute to strategic initiatives

• Implementing new processes and tools

You are a part of

our global team within the ‘Monitoring & Analytics’ business of Philips. The position is located at Philips Medical Systems Böblingen GmbH. We develop and produce patient monitoring systems for a worldwide market. Our products are used in emergency and intensive care, pregnancy and neonatal monitoring, as well as for anesthesia.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

At Philips we are looking for diversity and multifacetedness. Also, we are looking for graduates from different technical disciplines with a focus on either software engineering or technical engineering disciplines like electronic engineering, medical engineering or mechanical engineering. In addition, we are looking for:

• Results-oriented working style and mindset of a strong team player

• First experience in project management, e.g. through facilitating workshops or leading projects

• Knowledge of programs and project management (software) tools

• Strong understanding of systems engineering and/or software engineering

• Ability to plan and organize multiple work streams, to drive projects and change initiatives

• Self-dependent, well organized, methodical and aiming for high quality standards

• Team player with strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills

• Ability to influence and inspire others

• Fluent in English, German language skills beneficial

• Experience in multinational company/environment beneficial
