Reports to: R&D Director

Location: Shanghai

Works with: Members in R&D, Quality, Product Development, Manufacturing, Sales，Purchasing and counterparts in Asia, US and Europe.

Responsibilities:

• Carries out experiments to assist in new material developments

• Lead and complete ingredients replacement

• Complete testing to support material validation

• Technical support for newly developed or existing adhesive and sealant products

• Facilitate good communication and teamwork between R&D, Quality, Product Development, Manufacturing, Sales and Purchasing

• Facilitate good communication and teamwork between global R&D departments

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Material Science with an emphasis on polymer science (Master degree preferred or Bachelors degree with industrial work experience preferred)

• Has basic experience working in scientific laboratory

• Understands scientific methodology

• Ability to work independently

• Fluent in both written and oral English and Mandarin

• Results orientation with strong communications skills
