Junior Scientific Support Specialist

Job Responsibilities

The candidate shall have good technical knowledge in supporting the installation, operation and maintenance of supply of laboratory water system and process engineering auxiliary equipment in accordance to Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) and good manufacturing practices.

Support Team Lead in providing support to day-to-day customer site operation and activities including, but not limited to:

Carry out customer’s work scope deliverables like scheduled maintenance program (preventive, predictive, repair and corrective) and other work assignments in accordance with P&G’s approved SOPs and organization’s safety and quality requirements

Communicate and support Team Lead in the rectification work on the following areas in accordance with established quality management system:

• Quality, process and procedural variances and deviations
• System and/or equipment failure/anomaly

Participate in cost, quality and productivity improvement initiatives

Ensure all systems/equipment are well maintained, calibrated and serviced timely

Maintain inventory supply of parts and consumables

Maintain proper documentation of changes in SOPs, blueprints, drawings and specification for newly installed and/or modified systems and equipment.

May need to work outside regular office hours to support necessary maintenance work to minimize disruption to daily operation

Qualifications and Criteria

A Diploma in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines

Having prior knowledge in operating and/or maintaining water system and process engineering equipment would be preferred

Has basic knowledge of “good practice” quality guidelines and regulations (cGxP)

Good team player

Keen learner and motivated at work

Good communicative skill

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

Possesses a Diploma in Sciences or Engineering
