Technician for PL of fashion bags, apparel and accessories

Reporting to

Senior Technician

Job Descriptions

Sample evaluation against specification

Ensure the product meet the requirements at workmanship, measurements, fitting, craftwork

Analyze the quality from a technically perspective

Identify and resolve potential issues of samples

Give detailed and reasonable comments for supplier when problem occurred

Provide technical advice and support to suppliers, merchandiser and HQ

Communicate with merchandising teams/factories & Hq technicians for sampling, fitting and manufacturing matters

Visiting and training supplier sample room in terms of how to do the fitting & how to revise the paper pattern according to buyer's requirements

Qualifications:

Education Level: College or Above. Preferable major in Bags/Garment patternmaker, pattern education.

Minimum 5 years of technical experience in related areas

Pattern making knowledge and experience in sample room would be an advantage, help factory on paper pattern to achieve good fitting.

Knowledgeable of bags & apparel technology and quality standard in production.

Very familiar with supplier communication and cooperation for apparel manufacturing

High and good command of Spoken & Written English.

Computer Skills: Good operation on CAD & paper pattern making system. If experience of Gerber or Lectra system is good but not a must
