At our Siemens Advanta R&D Center we are focused on a product development including software development, hardware development, mechanical design and testing for the next generation concept of Industry 4.0. We would like to invite you to cooperate on the development of industrial automation products within established, stable, and successful SIMATIC ET 200 remote I/O family products. Within this family we also started development of new generation of Linux based devices with cloud connectivity. Your will take part in development and testing of actual products, prototypes, and proof of concepts for industrial automation devices. Your daily agenda will be designing of automated tests to evaluate proper functions of related device, optimization of current solutions or taking part of project related activities under supervision of one of our senior automation testers. This role is ideal as a part time job for a student interested in test automation using Python programming language and integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. The job can be also combined with university related activities such as bachelor or diploma thesis. We do not require experience of all mentioned technologies. What we rather see is willingness to learn, motivation, drive, self-organization and being a team player.
