Cargill Risk Management, a business unit of Cargill is a pioneer and leader in providing risk management solutions. At its core, our business is about working with customers to understand their commodity exposure and structure risk management (over-the-counter) products to meet their needs. Headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Cargill Risk Management has offices in 11 countries.
This role will be a core part of the entrepreneurial team building the Cargill Risk Management business in China. The organization offers risk management solutions to customers, and this person will manage the risk of those positions and will have influence on product selection and pricing. The trader may engage directly with customers to enhance the onboarding and sales process.
Principal Accountabilities
1.40% Partner with global sales team to engage customers on price risk management solutions primarily by helping with market insights and product selection

1.40% Partner with global sales team to engage customers on price risk management solutions primarily by helping with market insights and product selection
2.25% Make markets in the products we show to customers to maximize profitability. Use pricing to customers to build a book of business that affords significant profit and growth opportunities.
3.15% Maximize profitability of deals transacted by the team through hedging decisions and execution
4.10% Ensure that deals and hedges are accurate and entered in a timely manner
5.10% Engage with the sales team to show portfolio risks and influence book composition. Serve as a subject matter expert with the global trading team and ultimately with our customers.

- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, financial or commodity field
- Ability to understand and hedge option Greeks
- Attention to detail and ability to do P/L attribution and fine-tune strategies accordingly
- Fluency in English and Mandarin
2.Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a quantitative, financial or commodity field
- Prior option trading experience
- Structured Product pricing and hedging experience in commodities
- Programming Ability in C++, C#, Java, or Python
