Your responsibilities:

• Coordination of system development

• Design of of gearbox components like gears, shafts, bearings, housing

• Handling of assemblies

• Coordination of external and internal design related interfaces

• Stack up calculation

• Concept work of powertrain like DCT, AMT, DHT, hybrids and e-Drives

• Develop and maintain gearbox component specifications based on system and product level requirements

• Provide technical information and documentation as input to project milestones, tracking and for certification

• Supplier coordination from concept up to series

• Support of the project management, sales, purchasing and the plants in terms of technology, costs, quality, timing and after sales

Your profile:

• Master's Degree, Bachelor or equivalent (e.g. Dipl.-Ing.) in Mechanical Engineering or similar

• 3-4 years of professional experience in the field of automotive transmissions and e-mobility (hybrid, e-drive)

• Experience in the fields of design of mechanical components (rotatory components and surface modeling)

• Experienced in design auf gearbox components, housing design is a plus

• Skillset in using CAD (2D and 3D) software like CREO, CATIA or NX

• High degree of process thinking as well as strong system understanding

• Team oriented and communicative in an international and multi-disciplinary environment

• Pro-active, strongly motivated and self-driven

• Fluent English

• Willingness to travel
