- Position: K-5 ELA Curriculum Developer
- Location: Changping District, Beijing
- Employment Type: Full-time, On-site
- **Schedule**: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, weekends & Chinese public holidays off
- Start Date: ASAP / Negotiable
Job Description
Reporting to the curriculum supervisor, you will develop, revise and optimize standard-aligned K-5 ELA curriculum and supporting teaching resources for elementary students. Key responsibilities:
- Design full K-5 ELA curriculum systems, including syllabi, unit & lesson plans, teaching guides, student worksheets and reading materials;
- Update and iterate existing curriculum based on U.S. elementary education standards and classroom feedback;
- Align curriculum design with CCSS, and adapt to MAP Growth, i-Ready and U.S. state ELA assessment requirements;
- Support teacher teams with curriculum training, interpretation and instructional guidance;
- Follow the latest U.S. ELA curriculum updates to continuously upgrade course resources;
- Conduct curriculum evaluation, resource sorting, filing and regular work summaries.
Job Requirements
- Nationality (Mandatory) US / Canada native English speaker
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or above; Education, ELA, Curriculum Development or related majors preferred
- Experience: Hands-on U.S. elementary ELA teaching experience with solid knowledge of the US K-5 ELA curriculum framework
- Core Skills: Independent in full-process curriculum design, lesson planning and iteration with practical project experience
- Bonus: Familiar with CCSS, MAP Growth, i-Ready and U.S. state ELA assessments
- Preferred: Experience in U.S. K-12 textbook development, publishing or EdTech curriculum R&D
- Soft Skills: Meticulous, logical, good at cross-team communication and able to deliver tasks on schedule
Salary & Benefits
- **Salary**: RMB 20,000 – 35,000 pre-tax monthly (based on experience)
