Job Description
K12 International school with branches in Hangzhou, qingdao ,wuhan ,guangzhou, nanjing and other major cities in China. We are seeking qualified candidates for the positions of Primary School and Secondary School English Teachers to join the team in fostering an engaging and dynamic learning environment.
Position:
Secondary ESL Teacher
Primary ESL Teacher (Primary English teacher will need to teach EAL and higher level English writing)
Weekly Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:50 AM - 5:10 PM
Teaching Hours: Maximum of 25 teaching periods per week
Start Date: August 2025
1.Related Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, plus a teaching certification such as TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or a subject-specific teaching license.
2.3-5 years of relevant teaching experience, ideally with a strong understanding of AP and/or A-Level curricula.
3.Preference for candidates with full time primary/middle school ESL/ESOL teaching experience in China or abroad, must be able to teach ESL at primary/middle school students level.
4.Proficiency with technology is highly desirable.
5.Successful candidates must pass a criminal background check and provide an official college degree.
6.Willingness to agree on a two-month probationary period.
7.Native English speakers from the United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, or Canada.
8.Will prefer teachers who are qualified for transferring Work Permit in China
Salary&Benefits
1.Salary: 280,000RMB+ before tax annually, negotiable based on degree, relevant experience and school evaluation.
2.A tuition waiver of 100% for one child for each foreign hire teacher, each child thereafter will be 50%. A single teacher will receive free tuition for one child, a couple will receive free tuition for two children.
3.Provide a well-furnished apartment or housing reimbursement of 4,000 RMB per month.
4.Annual airfare allowance: 12,000 RMB. If the aggregate amount is less than 12,000 RMB, the residual amount of allowance will be paid together with salary. Teachers who have worked in our school continuously for more than two years will receive 24,000 RMB annual airfare allowance. The residual amount of allowance will be paid together with salary if the aggregate amount is less than 24,000 RMB.
5.Holidays: About 3-month paid holidays, including winter/summer vacations and all Chinese public holidays.
6.Settle down allowance: 3,000 RMB
7.Meal Allowance: 500 RMB per month.
8.Comprehensive Insurance annually from large-scale insurance company.
9.Professional induction training.
10.1 Physical Examination organized by the school every year.
