Position: Whole School/K12 Music and Band Teacher (IB Curriculum)
Overview:
The Teacher of Music and Band is to lead our comprehensive band, choir, and music
technology programs across the Primary, Middle, and High School divisions. The Teacher of
Music and Band is a dynamic educator, a versatile musician, and a visionary leader who can
inspire a love of music in students of all ages and ability levels. This role is pivotal in
producing high-quality musical performances and integrating modern technology to create a
forward-thinking, 21st-century music curriculum.

Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Performance, or a directly related field.
A Master’s degree is highly preferred.
A valid teaching certification/license from an accredited institution.
A minimum of 5 years of successful teaching experience in band and/or choir within a K-12 school setting, preferably in an international environment.
Demonstrable expertise in conducting and rehearsing large ensembles, with a proven
track record of high-quality student performances. High proficiency in at least one primary instrument (woodwind, brass, percussion, strings, or piano).
Experience teaching the IB Diploma Programme (Music) or IGCSE/A-Level Music.  Proficiency in piano for accompaniment purposes.
Experience with vocal pedagogy and choral techniques. 

Salary and Benefits:
 Monthly salary RMB 25000 to 33000 before tax;
