Key Responsibilities
1. Set-up and maintain an ordered and clean Montessori classroom environment
2. Prepare Montessori and other teaching materials and activities using the Montessori
method
3. Plan, organize, and lead daily a Montessori 2 ½ to 3-hour work period for multiple
ages of children, 2 ½ to 6
4. Plan and implement the Montessori curriculum including creating and giving
appropriate presentations
5. Lead the classroom teaching team including supervising teaching assistants and special instructors (e.g. art, music) who interact with children in the classroom
6. Maintain up-to-date records of the academic and developmental progress of each
child
7. Provide ongoing training, guidance and support in the use of the Montessori curriculum and teaching materials.
8. Establish and oversee classroom policies and procedures and the administration of the classroom, including classroom budget, inventory and supplies, reporting and recordkeeping.

Qualifications
1. Native English Speaker (US,UK,CA,SA,IR,NZ,AUS and other English Speaking Country recognized by China Foreign Experts Bureau)
2. Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (Master’s Degree preferred) -(legalized and authenticated by Chinese Embassy)
3. TEFL/TESOL/ELL Certification (unless degree is in TESOL or Early Childhood Education with 2-year reference letter in teaching.)
4. Non-criminal record within 6 months (legalized and authenticated by Chinese Embassy)
5. Proven communication skills both orally and in writing
6. Excellent organizational and administrative skills
