What will you be doing?
Grow Profitably
(1) Managing top and bottom lines of the account or portfolio of accounts
(2) P&L / Financial management of the account including expense management
(3) Maintaining up to date revenue projections
(4)Manage accurate resource allocation
Global capabilities
(1)Championing TMC’s technical and operational capabilities to customer’s goals and requirements
(2)Manage customer expectations and requirements and anticipate future needs
(3)Develop collaborative strategic plan(s) reflecting both the customer’s and TMC’s future visions
(4) Advocate and utilize TMC's project based delivery model
Customer Relationship
(1)Align both internal and external business functions to support long term strategic plan
(2)Develop initiatives and manage projects to support customer value proposition
(3)Develop rapport and maintain relationships with executive level customer contacts
(4)Ensure execution of operational excellence and serve as an escalation point
(5)Align with customer on business management processes and planning cycles
(6)Understand industry trends and apply to customer strategy and business
(7)P&L optimization
Talent
(1)Develop and manage talent
(2)Responsible for acquiring and retaining talent
(3)Foster a continuous improvement initiatives that is representative of TMC's values
What are we looking for?
(1)Bachelor’s Degree Required
(2) A minimum of 7 years’ experience, preferably in a supply chain operations environment
(3) Direct or indirect supervisory experience is required
(4)Presentation experience with internal and external key decision makers
(5) Demonstrated experience in consultative and strategic sales
(6)Ability and desire to work in a fast paced environment
(7)Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
(8) Advanced written and verbal communication skills
(9) Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER
(1)Demonstrates skill of managing internal and external customer expectations
(2)Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
(3) Knowledge of Supply Chain and/or Logistics industry
(4) Language Skills: English – Fluent (required); Mandarin Chinese – Fluent
(5)Up to 25% travel may be required (domestic and/or international)
