Job Description
Start time: We are looking for Homeroom Teachers to start at the new kindergarten
campus in August 2026. Age group and Class Size:
The maximum number of students in each class is 24. The plan for the first year is to set up four classes, one for each age group: Pre - Nursery, Nursery, Pre - kindergarten, and kindergarten. Working time (Provisional):
Teachers are contracted to work for a minimum of 192 student-contact days, plus up to 8
professional development/working days per year. Mondays to Fridays: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Teachers will be required to work at other times to attend parent meetings, school functions and/or other duties as directed by the school, which may include evenings, weekends or holidays but will not exceed 8 in any academic year.
Candidates should have:
- A bachelor's degree or above. - More than 2 years of relevant teaching experience. - Proficiency in using multimedia tools for teaching. - Good communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues. - The ability to work co - operatively and supportively with all members of staff. - IB experience is preferred.

Job Description
1. Student Management: Manage and monitor the learning and behavior of students in the
classroom to ensure that their academic progress and behavior are in line with the school's
regulations. Monitor students' academic progress, pay attention to their mental health, and provide necessary support and guidance.
2. Discipline Management: Manage discipline within the classroom, formulate and implement
appropriate discipline policies, and ensure the enforcement of school rules and regulations. Foster a positive school culture.
3. Curriculum Monitoring: Monitor and support the educational process within the classroom to ensure that the curriculum implementation is effectively executed. Collaborate with the teaching team to promote the development of the subject and improve the quality of teaching.
4. Academic Monitoring: Tracking students' academic performance with the help of subject tests and student grades and taking steps to help those who need extra support.
5. English Language Support: Provide English language support, especially for non-native English speakers, to help them improve their English language skills and better integrate into the academic and social environment.
6. Cultural Adaptation: Assist foreign students in adapting to the local culture by providing cultural adaptation guidance and addressing challenges they may face.
7. Intercultural Communication: Facilitate intercultural communication among students and actively participate in cultural activities to enhance students' understanding of and respect for
multiculturalism. 8. Activity Participation: Actively participate in student related in school and out of school activities to promote teamwork and student engagement.
9. Parents Conferences: Participate in regular parent conferences to share student development and school updates with parents.
10. Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other classroom teachers, faculty, and staff, and participate in the coordination of the school administration to ensure the smooth operation of the entire school.
11. Strictly follow the "Operational Guidelines for Teachers of Changsha WES Kindergarten" to
ensure that students receive appropriate education and care during their time at school.
12. Assist in completing other tasks assigned by the principal or the head of expat teachers
