Purpose of this Job


Overview

Responsible for the key accounts management and successful growth of Southco Auto & MCRT( Mass Transit, Commercial & Recreation Vehicles) business in South China,Mid China, and West China, with primary focus on Auto industry (both OEMs and Tier 1), but also take care of Railway, Off Highway, Bus & Coach customers as well as industry distributors.


Qualifications

? Strong engineering background and good knowledge of industrial mechanical products and process, key account management and project management experience.

? BSE or equivalent.

? Sales experience – 5 or more years in Auto and/or Off Highway or Rail segment.

? Excellent communication, presentation and listening skills.

? Solid English communication skills both in spoken and written.

? Southco Product and Application Knowledge is a plus.


Responsibilities

? Acoount Plan: Develop and implement startegic account plan for each Key Account under his/her custody. The account plan and strategy should be well-aligned with corporate goals and objectives while bringing a sustaining growth plan with detailed actions.??

? Profit Management: Execute the company value selling strategy to ensure year on year profitable growth.

? Sales Management: Meet company sales actitivity requirements, which include developing principal contacts at designated key accounts , frequent product seminars and documenting all pertinent contacts and activities with them in SalesForce databases in a timely fashion to reflect pipeline healthiness. Be the key account owner and build multilevel client relationship to protect and increase our business with them.

? Sales Reporting: Prepare and submit monthly overview summaries to highlight significant field activities and devlopment.

? Systematic Sales Approach: Use SalesForce in daily sales planning. Document and execute pertinent business activities (i.e., appointments, telephone conversations, quotes, sample requests, etc.). Use SalesForce Opportunity Manager to characterize and communicate key account opportunities and prepare periodic forecast updates. Identify "value enablers" for all designated Key Accounts and prepare proposals as required.

? Market and Competitive Monitoring: Communicate marketplace activity and trends to Southco Product and Industry Management colleagues. Be proactive in understanding competitor’s activities and movement.

? Budget and Forecasting: Timely submission of annual goal-setting package to management - a critical exercise with 3-year booking forecast by P/N for all assigned accounts. Regular monitoring on monthly sales versus budget and close the YTD gap with clear actions.
