Job Description
Tasks:
- Handling tasks on behalf of entire Marine Engine business
- Maintaining close contact with designated key accounts (CSSC / CSIC) in particular and other relevant government/agencies in Beijing
- Broad access to decision makers and influencers and ensuring good relationship
- Arranging meetings and contacts between relevant MAN-ES people and government/agency people on all levels
- Pro-actively influencing decisions or policies to ensure free and fair competition
- Promoting SBU-E new equipment (maybe initial focus on 2S and 4S) to relevant shipyard, owners and other relevant stakeholders in Beijing area.
Requirements:
- Marine Engineering degree (university) or equivalent technical education / degree
- Extensive Knowledge about marine propulsion systems and MDT Two-Stroke & Genset solutions
- Understand the requirements of the different marine applications
- Sound interpersonal and intercultural skills and understanding
- Very good communication and presentation skills
- Uphold the highest ethical standards, high integrity
- Confident to communicate on all client seniority levels
- Verbal and written fluency in English and other locally required language(s)
- Proficiency in Microsoft-Office package (Outlook, Powerpoint, Word, Excel
- Detailed understanding of the business on both technical and commercial levels
