Primary Focus:
1.Proactively seeks to identify opportunities for new business development and scope expansion to drive the business with client in China as well as for company.
2.Strategic in thinking with a strong understanding for shopper marketing, customer journey and experience in Retail and POSM to provide optimized solution to help drive the business with client and for company
3.Driver of company in partnership with the Client Agency Group as an extension of the team to build strong relationship with the marketing key stakeholders and covering various work streams
4.Partner perspective and end-to-end management with a solution-oriented approach to drive the business
5.Heavy stakeholders’ management to drive clarity of brief, accurate use of assets, adequate timeline and costing. Sought to align the country and educate on value of their brand and how it is implemented in the local market with the support from the Creative Team.
6.Lead and manage projects end-to-end and drive best practice, agreed process and standard way of working across market key stakeholders.
7.Acquires a clear understanding of customer business cycle and facilitate volume forecasting and project reporting with the Client Agency Group.
8.Be familiar with client’s brands and themes guidelines, POSM Instore, activation, online digital design and production requirement specific to markets, channels and retailers.
9.Onsite at Client Agency Shanghai office minimum 50% of the time or as when required.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1.You will be the day to day client contact and must effectively manage design meetings and take brief from client across China market.
2.Always ensure client brief is clear and have sufficient information and materials to start. You are not afraid to ask questions to understand the ‘who, what, why and how’ to understand the design strategy and ensure the design team can deliver on the brief.
3.Provide precise briefing to minimise rework and work closely with internal designer/ artist to ensure delivery of design/ meeting client’s expectations and budget
4.Manage timelines diligently, always plan ahead to ensure we do not compromise on quality deliverables and resources are optimised
5.Address lead time concern with key stakeholders and design team to meet client’s CPS
6.Preferably able to provide mid-level conceptualized design direction (for tier 2/adaptation work) to work with internal design team
7.Identifying potential problems in the creative pipeline and working with the Creative Team for solution
8.Monitor scope of work to ensure all elements (time and cost) are correctly captured as billable items on projects completed
9.Participates in cross functional teams to develop better processes, policies and effective workflows to improve cost efficiency, quality and KPI.
10.Submission of monthly KPIs and financial reporting, sales forecasts and holds quarterly business reviews
11.Review and present business review and proposal with client at all levels of management
12.Performs other duties as required in meeting the needs of business and as directed by reporting manager.
Requirements:
1.Degree holder in graphic design or marketing
2.Minimum 5 years sales experience in new business development and client account management
3.5-7 years’ experience in agency services – graphic design, print production and project management
4.3-5 years working experience in successful retail business and channel marketing
5.Knowledge in Packaging, In-store, Retail, Digital and Point of Sales is a must
6.Strategic thinking with strong collaboration with internal and external partners
7.A deep understanding of key account manager role and experience working with China Retail Marketing.
8.Creative mind-set, with a good sense of design and knowledge in print production is important
9.Ability to build and nurture new and existing client relationships and with key stakeholders
10.Team player possess a positive attitude and ability to establish good working relationships with heavy
stakeholder management both internal and external
11.Great problem solving skills, proactive and adaptable to a fast-paced environment
12.Strong analytical and negotiation skills is a must
13.Basic Photoshop and Illustrator skills or knowledge would be an advantage
14.Good presentation and effective communication skills (verbal and written)
15.Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
16.Both English and Mandarin fluency is required for the role.
