An exciting opportunity has become available for a Key Account Manager, Pacific to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining and growing existing revenue from designated accounts though the implementation of key account management practices and the development of mutually beneficial strategies and actions.
The role will manage a portfolio of accounts across Corporate, Government, Meetings & Events (M&E), and Airlines where the primary responsibility will be to implement Accor’s strategy to maintain or grow market share by adapting a total account management approach.
Getting to know the role and your responsibilities:
- Support the segment/s Director in the development of the strategic plans for the segments;
- In conjunction with the leadership team, develop and implement Accor’s overarching strategic business plans for multiple segments, ensuring all key stakeholders across the business are engaged and aware of the direction at a national and regional level;
- Strategically Manage & Support a portfolio of the top Clients for Accor nationally and globally;
- Lead the development of knowledge and implementation of best practice in hotels for the Business Travel segment
- Drive performance across all segments to meet the hotel targets;
- Grow market share for your allocated account portfolio from a total account management perspective
- Provide the regional leadership teams with ongoing strategic advice and direction to assist in meeting their short or long-term revenue generating needs;
- Develop both short and long range plans for your designated account portfolio, in consultation with the account, to deliver on budgeted revenue expectations;
- Identify new business opportunities from existing and selected new business accounts;
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Digital and Loyalty colleagues to fully identify new revenue streams within your account portfolio
- Engage with the Client Concierge Team to build exceptional client relationships that support the delivery of great service across the portfolio
- Develop and implement strategies across all accounts to promote and drive ALL - Accor Live Limitless acquisition and retention
What we need from you:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant Key Account Management & proactive sales experience in the travel and tourism industry is essential with exposure to the Corporate sector highly beneficial;
- Experience in managing national and multinational accounts
- Strong customer development and relationship management skills
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office and salesforce;
