Key Account Manager - Travel Management Companies (m/f/d)
Our European Key Account Management-Team for Travel Management Companies (= TMC) is looking for a strong Key Account Manager - TMC (m/f/d) – DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). Your main responsibilities are the growth and development of our client portfolio in the TMC-segment. Based on this, your focus is be on long-term growth of portfolios and customer relationships. Depending on the client, your role will have both, local (DACH) or Northern European scope. You are based in Germany, either in one of our offices (u.a. Munich, Hamburg, Berlin) or home office.
Your responsibilities:
- You are responsible for a set portfolio of customers and will focus on driving revenue across your portfolio, with an emphasis on long-term growth
- Your role has both a local (DACH-region) and regional (Accor Northern Europe) scope
- You are responsible for our TMC Accounts in the DACH region, and will act as the local expert and main point-of-contact
- Here, you will drive and execute the regional strategy for your portfolio and individual customers
- In addition, you will take the lead on individual accounts across the entire Northern European region and -team
- As account lead, you will develop and grow long-term account strategy across Northern Europe
- In this context, you will focus on building and growing long-lasting relationships with the various TMCs in the region
- You will negotiate terms, agreements and contracts with your customers, in line with the overall strategy
- Finally, you monitor performance of the portfolio and individual clients, ensure a steady revenue- & market share growth and adjust sales strategy and -implementation if necessary
Your Profile:
- You have several years of relevant experience in Key Account Management and/or general Sales
- In addition, you have experience in hospitality, tourism or gastronomy
- You have a strong track record in sustainably building long-term relationships with various customers and stakeholders across all levels and areas of the business
- Strategic, long-term thinking with clear business acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset are among your strengths
- You possess excellent negotiation skills
- You are known for your communication skills and team play
- You speak German and English fluently
