Job Description

You will have the opportunity to join the organisation on a 6-month contract and in return will receive training and the opportunity to build your skills for your future career prospects.


Working hours are 25 hours per week. In addition, as part of the Kickstart program you will be required to attend training for 7 hours per week (to take place offsite). In total there will be 16 days of training.


The role
We have some exciting opportunities available to join our Human Resources team at the MINI Plant in Oxford. The positions are offered across the HR function and will give you exposure to working with either the Recruitment, HR Management, Training or Payroll/HR Services departments. 


The position will give you an insight into the role and responsibilities of the HR function that you join. In addition, you will get exposure to the wider BMW Group business and have the opportunity to communicate with a number of different stakeholders. Day to day, you will support HR with operational topics and help with the coordination of activities for the department and HR projects. This may include assisting with processing tasks, preparation of documentation, making/receiving phone calls and scheduling meetings. 
 

What you need to be successful


You will have previous experience of working with Microsoft Office programmes at a basic level. For example, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. An interest in working in a Human Resources role is essential and previous administrative experience is desirable. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a busy environment whilst maintaining accuracy is important.
