Kids Club Supervisor

What you will be doing:

•    Ensure the Kids’ Club is clean and in impeccable order at all times.
•    Supervise, organize and control groups of children up to capacity with appropriate staff
•    Assist in training, supervision, and evaluations of Kids’ Club colleagues.
•    Lead by example in providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships with the Kids’ Club team.
•    Tracks and receives supplies and ensure they are readily available for Kids’ Club colleagues.
•    Assist with fiscal responsibilities; including but not limited to:
    -Payroll, revenue and expense budgets 
    -Assist with submit profit and loss statements to management
    -Complete billing
•    Organize, arrange and oversee all Kids Club Special events
    -Holiday events (Halloween, Easter, Christmas Gala)
    -Organize Kids Club activity calendar, assist team in developing, evaluating and improving activities. 

•  Assist in creating and structuring curriculum
              -Summer Camps
              -Seasonal Camps
              -Weekly Kids’ Club activities 
•    Appropriately communicate with parents and addresses member concerns.
•    Communicate with staff, upper management and interdepartmental managers to facilitate Kids’ Club events.
•    Maintain a safe environment for the children 
•    Effectively communicate with management, co-workers and parents concerning behavior or other problems
•    Apply first aid when needed 
•    Maintain full knowledge of emergency procedures and ensure that they are followed for all incidents, accidents, and other emergencies
•    Attend monthly department meetings with the Kids’ Club Staff – including but not limited to CPR training. 

Qualifications:

•    Above average leadership skills;  both with colleagues and children
•    Comfortable leading groups of children in educational and recreational activities
•    Organizational and interpersonal communication skills
•    The ability to handle several situations simultaneously 
•    The ability to assist in creating & implementing an activity schedule with Camp Coordinator and Management and follow prescribed curriculum. 
•    Friendly, energetic & dependable 
•    Strong command of English language- written & oral 
•    Experience/interest in field of education preferred
•    Demonstrated skills/hobbies directly related to youth activities (art, sports, music, camping, science, gardening, etc.,) preferred. 
•    Certified in Child CPR & First Aid required
