Job Description:
1. Understand and communicate footwear construction and component standards as they affect fitting, comfort and durability.
2. Solve problems and initiate corrective actions in the Development, confirmation and pre production process to our standards with factories so for manufacturability.
3. Key day to day role is to measure and understand last corrections for ladies fashion dress and casual shoes to establish fit confirmation samples that are technically correct for fit, comfort, look and manufacturing.
4. Using last information and fit samples on foot fitting model, issue recommendations and get suppliers to accept this correct principle and practice and to take responsibility for it.
5. Good experience of footwear technical development of lasts, patterns bottoms and commercialization into production in ladies fashion footwear. Mens footwear is also an advantage.Experience requirement:
1. Key experience: held a technical role in footwear pre-production technical development, footwear production and construction. Understands how to correct lasts, patterns and bottoms to achieve the fit and look of the product in line with sales sample that can be produced in production consistently.
2. Is a team player and able to work with and influence development PD, factories, agents, pre production and QC.
3. At least 5 years experience
4. Understand production, technical construction, lasts and patterns and grading and sizing.
5. Fitting product for fit, comfort and quality
6. Communication daily with suppliers, manufacturers and overseas office
7. Able to take technical experience and apply it from a retail level. Develop the job role via a flexible approach to achieve end goals. Work on multiple projects, drive efficiency, work to timelines, train and influence suppliers, and drive a consistency of excellence
