Kindergarten ESL Teacher
Location: Nantong, Jiangsu Province
Starting: Feb,2024
Duties & Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for every student’s well-being and ensure a safe, secure learning environment
- Design and deliver engaging lesson plans in alignment with the BIS curriculum and policies
- Differentiate and support the learning needs of every student
- Assess, record, and report on student academic and social development and progress, and establish mitigation plans when necessary
- Engage with parents in a positive manner in-person and over social media, keeping them well-informed as individuals and groups on classroom activities, school developments, and student progress
- Always search for and identify new ways to keep students engaged and excited about learning
- Liaise with teachers in lower- and upper-year groups to ensure continuity of student progress
- Engage in regular collaborative discussions with teachers to continuously improve the learning environment and teaching approaches
Qualifications
- Native English speaker or TEFL/TOEFL certification for non-native English speakers
- Authenticated Bachelor’s Degree, in early years education preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of English-language learning and teaching
- TEFL certificate and authentication or reference letter for two-years teaching experience
- Criminal background check and authentication
Package Information
- Full-time, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday with one hour lunch break and one hour class preparation
- Chinese government holidays will be observed, plus three paid days off for Christmas
- Permanent employment subject to three-month probationary period
- Work Visa (teaching visa )
- Minimum one school year commitment
- Accommodation or allowance
- Base salary negotiable (depends on the qualification )
