Job Title: Homeroom Teacher (Age 2–3 or age 3-4, Reggio/EYFS, Ningbo, Zhejiang)

Overview

On behalf of an international early childhood education institution in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, we are recruiting a Homeroom Teacher for its 2–3 years or 3-4years classroom. This role centers on delivering education rooted in Reggio and EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) concepts, constructing a child - centered, play - based learning environment where mixed - age children can explore, collaborate and achieve their full potential. A passion for Reggio/EYFS pedagogy, hands - on experience in early years classroom management, and unwavering dedication to nurturing young learners are the core prerequisites for this position.

Key Responsibilities

1. Act as the Homeroom Teacher for 2–3 years or 3-4 years children, and design and deliver daily learning activities that align with Reggio and EYFS principles.
2. Oversee daily classroom routines (including meals, play, rest, and learning transitions) for to guarantee a safe, inclusive and engaging environment.
3. Observe and document the growth of each child, and promptly communicate their learning progress to parents and the school teaching team.
4. Collaborate with co - teachers and school staff to continuously optimize Reggio/EYFS teaching practices in the classroom.

Requirements

1. Must be a native English speaker with authentic and fluent language proficiency.
2. Have a minimum of 2 years of early childhood education experience, with previous experience in teaching in 2–3 years or 3-4 years classrooms.
3. Familiarity with either play-based (Montessori or Reggio Amelia) educational practices or the British EYFS curriculum is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

1. Monthly Salary: 25,000–28,000 RMB (including housing allowance; typically, 2,000–3,000 RMB is sufficient to rent a comfortable unit in Ningbo).
2. Paid Holidays: Annual paid leave includes 3 weeks of winter vacation and 4–5 weeks of summer vacation.
3. Professional Support: The school offers regular training related to Reggio, EYFS, teaching practices, behavior management, growth mindset, and cultural competency to support the professional development of teachers.
