Kindergarten Homeroom Teacher

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kindergarten Homeroom Teacher to join an international early years program in Hangzhou. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education and committed to creating a nurturing, play-based, and language-rich learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
Lead a homeroom class for kindergarten-aged children
Plan and deliver engaging, play-based early years lessons
Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and language development
Create a safe, caring, and structured classroom environment
Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress
Collaborate with teaching assistants and fellow educators
Participate in school events and early years curriculum development
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of full-time kindergarten teaching experience (strict requirement)
Valid reference letters or employment verification required
Bachelor’s degree or above (Early Childhood Education or related field preferred)
Teaching qualification/license preferred (PGCE / QTS / TEFL / ECE certification, etc.)
Native English speaker preferred
Strong classroom management and understanding of early childhood development
Warm, patient, and child-centered teaching approach

Experience in international or bilingual kindergarten settings
Familiarity with play-based / Reggio Emilia / Montessori approaches
Strong communication skills with parents and team collaboration ability
