The Job
Our client is seeking creative, patient, and
enthusiastic English teachers to inspire young learners aged 2 to 6 years old. With over 90 years of experience, our client is now operating more than 20 schools across China, as well as locations in the US and UK. We are committed
to fostering the spiritual, academic, physical, social, and emotional development of our
students.
Our research and development team continuously creates course materials that blend
Eastern and Western educational elements. In addition to English learning, we emphasize
character formation and holistic development in a multicultural environment, following a
child-centered teaching philosophy.
Our qualified and dedicated teachers address the diverse learning needs of young
learners through various methods, including songs, dance, art, games, and activities
aligned with weekly topics. Teachers collaborate with local Chinese staff to plan lessons
and utilize multimedia resources effectively. We also provide ongoing professional training
based on established methodologies to enhance teaching effectiveness.
Chongqing – The City
Chongqing, as one of China's four municipalities directly governed by the central
government alongside Beijing, Shanghai, and Tianjin, is a rapidly evolving city renowned
as the "Mountain City" due to its hilly landscape. The city blends modern development
with local traditions and vibrant neighborhoods.
Rich in natural beauty, Chongqing features mountains, rivers, forests, waterfalls, gorges,
and caves. It also highlights the region's cultural heritage, including the Bayu culture and
attractions like the Three Gorges and Yangtze River Cruises.
Chongqing is famous for its food scene, with thousands of restaurants offering a variety of
delicious dishes. The most renowned is the spicy hot pot, which uses chili peppers,
sesame, fermented black beans, scallions, ginger, garlic, wine, soy sauce, and numerous
other flavorings across nearly 40 cooking methods.
Main Responsibilities
-Total Work Hours: 40 hours per week, including teaching time
-Lesson Planning: Develop age-appropriate lessons and activities
-Curriculum Delivery: Teach according to the assigned topics
-Incorporate Arts: Include English songs or art activities related to the current topic
-Collaboration: Collaborate with local teachers to plan weekly lessons
-After-School Classes: Conduct after-school English classes one or two days a week
Compensation
-Salary: 20,000 to 22,000 RMB per month (pre-tax)
-Housing Allowance: 2,000 RMB per month (pre-tax)
-Round-trip Flight Reimbursement: Up to 10,000 RMB upon completion of the contract
-Contract Completion Bonus: up to 5% of the total base salary of the 2-year service (after
deductions for any unpaid leave; conditional upon the teacher’s job performance and the
financial condition of the school)
-Holidays: 13 national holidays plus up to 4 weeks of paid vacation during winter and
summer breaks
-Free Lunch: Provided during working hours
-Child Tuition Fee Subsidy: Up to 100% tuition waiver for children (Max.2)
-Training: Staff orientation and ongoing professional development opportunities
-Group Medical Insurance
Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree
-TEFL certificate preferred but not required
-1 year experience teaching young learners required
-Native English speaker
-Professional, dedicated and culturally aware
