• Education – A bachelor’s degree from any one of USA, UK, Canada, Australian and New Zealand
• Certification – A TEFL certification
• Experience – teaching young children in nurseries or in early years class setting
• Contract length – at least one year, review on completion of the 2nd year

• Working Hours – 40hours/week, Monday to Friday, 2 days off per week.

About Nobel Preschool

Nobel Preschool (Zhongshan) was setup in 2012 as a proper bi-lingual school and our first academic year started in September 2012. We started with 8 students and after 4 successful years we peaked last year with 450 students. The structure of our classes is split between local and international streams from nursery to K3. Local classes have 30 minutes of English instruction daily by English teacher that rotate between the local classes whereas international stream classes have full-time English teacher in the classroom while giving 1 hour of English instructions daily. Young children are naturally smart and can absorb a multitude of information especially when they start young. Nobel Preschool has adopted the Reggio Emilia approach where we encourage children to learn through play and exploration. We want our children to develop a curiosity for learning and to find it fun to learn through inquiry and to thereby develop their confidence whenever they can apply their newly acquired knowledge.

About Zhongshan

Zhongshan is located along the west side of the mouth of the Pearl River, directly opposite Shenzhen and Hong Kong. It lies south of Guangzhou and Foshan and north of Zhuhai and Macau. The northern part of Zhongshan, including most of the urbanized area, lies on the alluvial plains of the Pearl River Delta, while the southern part of the city's territory reaches into a range of coastal hills. Zhongshan is located 1.5 hours by ferry to Hong Kong, 1 hour by car to Guangzhou and 2 hours to Shenzhen. Zhongshan is one of the more well-known green cities in China and prides itself for. There are many golf courses within close proximity if you ever fancy a game and hot-springs are also within a stone’s throw away if you needed that relaxation.

Like nearly all of southern China, Zhongshan's climate is warm and humid most of the year, with an average temperature of 22 °C (72 °F) and 175 centimetres (69 in) of rainfall each year. Southern China experiences fairly frequent typhoons and thunderstorms, and most rain falls between April and September. Cost of living in Zhongshan is relatively lower than other close by metropolis like Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and Hong Kong.
